Yvon Taillandier is a contemporary French painter born in 1975 in Marseille. He is known for his expressionist canvases with bright and contrasting colours that explore existential and emotional themes.

He is one of the representatives of the free figuration movement.

After studying art at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, Taillandier rose to prominence in the 2000s with his "Tormented Figures" series, depicting characters tormented by their inner turmoil. Over the past decade, the artist has expanded his visual vocabulary while remaining true to his energetic and tormented style. His more recent works, such as the "Fragments of the Soul" series, explore the themes of human fragility and the search for meaning through the use of fragmented forms and vibrant colors.

Exhibited in numerous galleries and institutions in France and abroad, Yvon Taillandier has acquired solid critical acclaim and his value continues to rise in the contemporary art market. His paintings are featured in prestigious public and private collections.
