Antonio Seguí (1934-2022) was an Argentinian artist who lived in France, in
Spain, in Africa, and in Central America.
He humorously evokes the spectacle of urban life. His favorite theme
The essence of his work is above all Man, and more specifically
modern man.
His realistic work lies between pop art and the New Figuration movement.
He represents it on multiple media, from painting to...
photography, from lithography to monumental sculpture, of
simplified characters in motion, in warm colors
evoking the crowds of Latin America and the rhythm of its cities.
His works are part of the collections of more than a hundred
museums worldwide, and in France, his works are
present at the Centre Pompidou and the Museum of Modern Art of the
City of Paris or even at the Museums of Fine Arts in Orléans or
from Lyon.
